Major thanks to David Warlick for sharing the presentation by Governor Angus King (and to King for allowing it). I could listen to this guy all day. He changed Maine in the most drastic way and has put “us on the map”.

I just finished catching up with Dave Warlick and was happy to read Angus King’s speech. I too could listen to him many times over. He has the vision, he gets 21st Century Skills. Even Kevin McCarthy, Senior Vice President-Underwriting UNUM Provident, referenced Angus in his speech at the 8th annual Celebration of Leadership Luncheon, where Bob and I were recognized for our Co-Technology Teacher awards. While I listened to Kevin make all the 21st Century Skills points I thought about the student interview I made with the Room 208 students. I am going to email that to Kevin McCarthy so he can listen to students commenting on 21st Century Skills.
