We subscribe to mags and newspapers so we don’t have to go out and get it… it comes to you. Same concept here.

RSS comes to your “reader”… if you can get your head around that, you’re fine.
Will showing us how he organizes his GoogleReader (folders by interest).
Can be a good thing or bad… could be information overload… leads to guilt
New literacy skill: processing all the information very quickly… connects to me or doesn’t
With GoogleReader… “add a star” to read later
Can also share and it will go to the shared page

Go to google and also add RSS
Will explains how to “right click” to get the address.
How to subscribe for “news items” in Google News … and you get way too much … but… go to the advanced setting and just specify that you want it from a few papers, rather than the other 400+!
Can also go to Google Blog and search there
Will talks about delicious and tagging
Can even get an RSS from flickr… YouTube

Can put RSS and turn to Java Script to put on a webpage
