I listened to the show, 2 times. Each time I got something new out of the discussion! Hey Seedlings this is Web 2.0, be sure to leave your comments, thoughts , distractions! Great job David with the topic. It was and is thought provoking.

Hello from a Western Seedling. Great to see that the spirit of SEED lives on!

I unfortunately missed the link that David mentioned on the show. It was course something I think.

    Keep up the great work.

In the spring of 2004, as I was getting ready for my year abroad in Thailand, a friend asked me if I was going to set up a blog to stay in touch.

    A what?

    A weblog, he said.

    Well, I didn’t and I didn’t pay attention while I was away.

Now I’m back and I can’t believe how much everything has changed. I get it now.

So I wanted to let you know, and Cheryl and Alice and others, how much I appreciate your work and being able to follow your lead.

We are blogging like crazy at King Middle School now, though we are doing so without having the software on our servers, which also means we are doing it without much administrative oversight/control. And it’s exploding with kids.

Blogs are the best formative assessment tools I’ve ever seen. And I’ve never seen so much kid-correcting-kid in my career.

For those interested, check out one of our current expedition blogs at: http://paulclifford.edublogs.org

Thanks for your leadership and support.

And maybe we should do a bit by bit on blogs and assessment.
