Students: Thanks so much to all of you for sharing your perspectives on digital literacy, and what you are learning as a result of your writing and publishing activities in 3rd and 4th grade. You all might want to help edit and expand the new WikiPedia entry for “shoutout,” this is a new term that not many people know about. You can link to this from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shoutout.

I really enjoyed hearing your podcast. Believe it or not, this is my first experience listening to a podcast. I think that it is great to hear all of the things that you are learning about technology. I enjoyed hearing your opinions about global communication and blogging. Keep podcasting!!

Kudos to the students that produced this report. You all did a fantastic job and should be commended on the knowledge you have regarding digital literacy. You have exceeded my knowledge and I feel like I could learn more than a thing or two from you all. My 7 year old daughter listened along with me and enjoyed the information you shared. It is sometimes difficult for youngsters to understand that other kiddos are really out there doing the same kind of work that they are, but you children brought reality to her world. Thank you so much for your useful information and keep up the good work!
