Group Blog
Usually when you create a blog, you have to invite people in. We all have our own blogs… not everyone is comfortable with that.
How it all began (eductorslog.in) Shuchi returned to India ands created group blogs because:
In India, every school is a “silo”… very little community… very little connection between teachers. Teaching is a very solitary activity. No platform for sharing best practices. Tons of resource banks on the Internet but none put together by Indian teachers with contextually relevant ideas and resources. No space for collaborative reflection or expression. No teacher personal blogs either! Teachers don’t have a space for asking questions or polling others for ideas. No source of information about new pd programs.
There was no India-focused “community” an educator could “belong” to.

Community Space for Educators: Big Questions:
- Who is this community?
- What are the qualities of the typical member of this community?
- What features does all this translate to?
- How do we deelop this?
