This week we went on a field trip to the Ogunquit Museum of Art . We saw Janet Fish’s and Eliot O’Hara’s art. We also sketched pictures of the ocean and houses. One of our favorites was CAITLIN CRYING. We liked it because it told a story. Another one of our favorites was CHARLES AND JIM. That was one of our favorites because it was so realistic. We had a lot of fun!

This week we started to write letters about PITCH. Sound can be different pitch but same volume. The longer the object the lower the pitch. You can change pitch by having a slower or faster vibration.

In Music this week, we learned how to do dance steps like the GREAT VINE and PIVOT. Also, Mrs. Taylor taught us how to do keyboards. We also learned songs, like PURPLE MOUNTAINS.

We also had FIREFIGHTER BOB and his assistant DEB come. They came to our classroom to talk to us about fire safety. Deb put on the fire suit so if she came to our house we wouldn't be scared during a fire. We all got erasers for answering fire safety questions.
