Ask “Room 208” Questions for their upcoming Reunion Podcast Show!

This Tues (12/4/12) “Room 208 Students” (http://bobtaughtme.com/bitbybit_wordpress/blog/) are getting back together for a Reunion Podcast Show! They were, if not the first then at least among the youngest Podcasters and Bloggers in the world back in 2005.

One way to look at it, is that they were the first students using these Web 2.0 tools we all are talking about.

I had them when they were 3rd and 4th graders. They’re now seniors, juniors, and sophomores in High School.

What questions would you like to ask these students?

For example:

Did having tools such as podcasting (to a global audience) have an effect on their following years? Did the use of these tools help build confidence? Has their use of technology in education continued or declined?

Ask away!

Thank you!

I would be interested to know wheather they still use these tools or not so much. Btw, I have just shared the following article on a new math learning app to the parents via email, what do you guys think?

    Room 28 Students,

Do you feel you spent more time on your blogging posts because they was going to a larger authentic audience? Are any of you still blogging on a regular basis and if so, is it because you developed a comfort level in earlier grades?

I loved listening to the podcasts. I shared them with my kindergarten students who were inspired to do a few podcasts about our class. Thanks so much for your wonderful work.

What happened when you left Mr. S and went on to other classes? Did you miss the podcasting work? Did you have other classroom experiences where you could be in control of your work? What message do you have for teachers who resist using technology tools to enhance student learning?

Have a great afternoon at your reunion. I can’t wait to hear the podcast!
