So... Why did a Cartoonist come to visit us?


So... why did a Cartoonist come to visit us? Well, we do a lot of cartooning here in Room 208. Every Monday at recess students who've wanted to have been working on cartoons. We've been reading books that teach you about creating cartoons, and students are starting to post their creations on this BLOG!

We also have used cartoons to reflect on our learning. Students clearly love the format. We use a 3 panel format for reflections in our Portfolios :








and have even used it as an assessment tool:
